Galatians, also called by Paul, and [a letter from the apostle Paul to the Galatians], written to Christian churches (the exact location of which is unknown) disturbed by the Jews in the early Christian churches.These Jews taught that converted Christians must obey the norms of the Mosaic Law, including circumcision, and rejected Pauls apostolic legitimacy.Rebutting this, Paul earnestly proved that he was the true apostle of Jesus Christ, and in the meantime, spoke of his important past history.In this letter, Paul reaffirms what he had previously taught.
He said that the Mosaic Law was abolished, so returning to Jewish practice is a step back, and even if Christians have gained new freedom, they are not free to sin, but rather Christians are obliged to live according to the Spirit of God.
